Two videos in one day? wtf

Anyway, this game kicks ass. The debugs on the other hand, are confusing as hell. There's nothing to really do with these debugs since most are for informational purposes, but there are some strange ones. My goal was to find the Object debugger, which should be much like the one Sonic Adventure has, and I thought I came close.

These debugs were easy to find and activate, but it requires modifying the memory. I used DEMUL with Cheat Engine (since nothing works for nulldc, gay). What I did was search for the value that modifies the ring count and scrolled up to find a nice row of 00s and 01s, which can be modified to turn on the debugs you see here. I can't really begin to explain what the debug stuff does and if there is more (which I know there are and I have gotten them to load before, but it became unpredictable after the 5 minute mark). My guess is that there are other debug screens that can be enabled and operated using other controller ports. But it was difficult for me to do that with an emulator, heh.

Notice that this is the PREVIEW build, not the Trial. The Trial has about the same stuff but it is a little bit different. Since this build was compiled in March and the Trial one was compiled in November, there are differences here and there. I'll get around to it eventually, but I have no idea if it'll be worth recording footage again. I know for a fact that the final versions don't have this debug crap in it anymore, so thank GOD for protoz.

Speaking of footage, I apologize for the slowness and the weird audio on this one. I tried my best to keep the game running in window mode AND have a decent resolution at the same time. But no matter what settings (both in FRAPS and DEMUL), plugins, or resolution I used - I could never get the thing to operate at 60fps while recording. The only way I could get the game to function properly was if I recorded at half the size, but you don't know what Youtube might do to that...

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this. I know people are going to say "OLD" etc, and that there are other videos of this out and about. But whatever...

I don't know what the next game/video might be, but I might have another video ready sometimes soon.
