The fastest hedgehog will accept the challenge of Eggman and defeat him. But he will need some help in this fun mobile game called Sonic Dash, brought to you by SEGA. Your goal here is to stay on the track for as long as you can. Control your character Sonic and move from left or right to dodge various traps. You can also dodge other traps by rolling or jumping. You must also collect coins along the way to increase your points. You will get to unlock other character of Sonic's team; Shadow, Knuckles, and Tails. Battle against Sonic's arch-nemesis named Dr. Eggman and stop his evil schemes.

Overview

Sonic Dash is a fast paced endless runner featuring your favorite characters from Sega's Sonic universe, the most famous hedgehog is back and running at the speed of sound, the task is quite simple really but really hard to do, it is to run as fast as you can across the levels and register the longest distance before dying, it won't be that easy though as the tracks are littered with obstacles that you need to evade and enemies that will try to nip and stop Sonic on his tracks, like those crabs and nasty mechanical fishes, even missiles that seem to appear out of nowhere, there are even a couple of boss battles you need to contend to like the evil Zazz and the diabolical Dr. Eggman, fortunately, Sonic is quite powerful, you can unleash his abilities to topple barricades that block your path or even at the enemies that are quite relentless in pursuing Sonic, there are also a lot of powerups that you can use in the game, like shields, head starts, ring magnets which are very helpful if you try to unlock Sonic's friends like Tails, Shadow and even Knuckles...it's going to be challenging alright, but it's going to be one fun and fast paced adventure from start to finish.

Graphics and Sound

Sonic Dash is in 3D and has pretty graphic designs based on the original Sonic characters, the character designs are as pretty as ever, exactly like the Sonic characters and villains you have grown to love...or hate throughout the years, environments are very pretty, the 3D rendering made the game really looked cool and pretty, colors are great, everything looked bright and vivid, the game is really soft to the eyes, animations are also smooth, whether it be the characters or the moving parts of the game, everything is really fluid, music and sounds are great, lots of variety and quite non stop, not too explosive and bombastic but certainly made the game more fun to play, special effects are also great, every object you touch seem to have it's own assigned special visuals, overall, the game looks pretty as ever, though not at par with console graphics, it certainly looked pretty and nice.

Gameplay

Sonic Dash is just like your typical endless runner where you need to run fast and dodge obstacles and occasionally battle enemies along the way, there are a lot of collectibles in the game, lots of coins are scattered along the tracks and lots of unlockables and powerups to buy, and if you get tired of Sonic, you can try to unlock the other characters each one having their own unique abilities for you to use on your runs, just don't forget to prioritize those rings along the way as collecting a lot will certainly get you a long way, controls are simple and easy to learn, the movements are controlled with swipes, swipe left and right to change lanes, you can swipe downwards to make a roll and swipe upwards to jump, very simple and easy for everyone to enjoy.

Sonic Dash cool features 3D graphic designs, you get to use original characters from the Sonic universe, there are a lot of unlockables here from powerups to abilities and even cool characters like Tails, Knuckles and Shadow, there are a lot of rings to collect and a lot of enemies and obstacles that will challenge your skills.

Conclusion

Sonic Dash is so much fun, when it comes to gameplay, it could not rival the console versions, but then again, you have to understand, the transitioning to mobile requires a lot of changes...overall, the game still is great and so much fun to play, I enjoyed it a lot.
