The mission assigned to you if you choose to accept it, is to enter an arena with other tanks and destroy all targets. Your cannon shells can block other enemy's shots. You can also use special power-ups like bombs, extra damage, and extra armor to stay longer in the battlefield. You can also deploy turrets to damage your enemies. Each level also has side missions you can complete for perfect star ratings. Don't forget to visit the shop and purchase new cannons, armors, treads, and even camo paint jobs.

Overview

Tank Battles take place in a remote private island where General Mc Tankerson, a hardened war veteran with a passion for tanks, you will travel to the island and compete in a Tank Battles Tournament, there will be many participants but only one will be champion and become the Tank King, there are a variety of tanks available for you to use, each one of them can be pimped to make them tougher and more powerful giving you the advantage over your opponents, it can be played solo with a lot of challenging missions and intense multiplayer action, there are practically thousands of parts available for you, with a lot of combinations of armor, weaponry, treads and even paint jobs to make your tank look cooler than the rest, there are also 22 special items available to help you dominate the battlefield and reign supreme over the others, like land mines, bombs and turrets to dish out huge damage to your opponents, you can also team up with your friends, or compete against them to in epic multiplayer battles to improve your ranking at the leaderboards, or simply play solo in its 80 challenging levels, it won't be easy though but it will be a "heavy metal " fun for sure.

Graphics and Sound

Tank Battles have nice graphics, tank models are quite cool although somewhat boxy in appearance, but the looks does change depending on the parts you install on them, like weapons, armor, and even camouflage, environments are great too, structures are quite detailed and totally destructible, even the maps look unique and varied even though the entire game is located on a small island, colors are great, it looks bright and vivid, and really soft to the eyes, animations are also cool, movements are nice and all moving parts have smooth animations, music and sounds are also cool, in game music id engaging and makes the game more exciting and the sound effects are quite realistic, it varies from one weapon to another, special effects are also pretty, weapon fire have very nice visuals and explosions are bright and pretty, overall, the game looks quite stunning, although the tanks are not very realistic by design.

Gameplay

Tank Battles has you playing 80 challenging levels with increasing difficulty, you start out with simple missions and then it increases in difficulty as you progress through the game, there is also a multiplayer mode that you can play with your friends, but there seems to be a bug for now, there is a delay in the movement and firing of the weapons which practically destroys the whole multiplayer experience...let's wait for a bug fix guys, the main objective in the missions is to be the last tank standing, after each level, you will be rewarded with stars, you can earn up to three actually, depending on how you performed, you get to access nes levels and cooler parts with these stars, controls are simple and easy. there is a virtual stick on the left to move the tank and to fire, just tap on any structure or target and the tank will fire at it.

Features

Tank Battles features beautiful graphics, there are a variety of tanks available with a lot of weapons, armor, paint jobs to make your ride look cooler, that's besides the 22 special items available to use on the battlefield, there are also 80 levels for the single player and 10 cool maps for the multiplayer mode.

Conclusion

Tank Battles is one fun game to play, on the single player at least, but the multiplayer is somewhat defective, the delay in movements and firing definitely made this one very frustrating...but the single player is fun though, I enjoyed it a lot.
