This is the first of Modern Sonic's challenges and definitely the one with the least amount of twists on it. You're basically just going through a middle portion of Green Hill Act 2, only with a lot of collapsing platforms.

And while it's early-game stuff, this is an example of a stage that is most certainly NOT "boost to win." The layout of the place would cause Sonic to constantly run into walls or fall to slower, lower parts of the stage. You'll need to lay off on the boost for much of this place if you're going to get to the goal in time.

Also, while there are a lot of collapsing platforms here, they still take a few seconds to actually fall, so it's not so bad. You'll see some VERY quickly collapsing platforms in later places like Crisis City and Planet Wisp.
