0The best version of modern Green Hill is in this game, in my opinion. There's plenty of platforming and plenty of robots to wreck. There's actual patches of grass on the ground where the striped grass textures are seen and there are puddles on tiled ground from all the running water. A giant piranha badnik chases Sonic like how an orca chased Sonic in Emerald Coast in Sonic Adventure.
Chemical Plant has a cool red sky and industrial setting outdoors which looks similar to Scrap Brain Zone. Blue jelly-like chemicals fly out of open tubes and Sonic submerges himself in the pool of chemicals.
Green Hill is a representation of the world Sonic is trying to protect while Chemical Plant is a representation of the world Dr. Eggman wants to create.
