Sound Design Shorts: Doom UI
1I'm quite busy at the moment so I'm digging through my archive to keep a schedule going. Fun Fact is that I actually do a bunch of these in a week and often just select what I think is the best or might find more interesting. The benefit being that I not only get to practice a bunch but also when I have off weeks like this one I still have something to show for the effort I put into learning about sound design.
More about the actual clip is that I did pretty much everything in vital synth. Synthesized sounds are great for many things but personally they're flexibility makes it easily a worthwhile skill to learn.
Looking back the atmosphere didn't need to be so lonely. Easily could have put some low tonal hum to fill out the space so it isn't so lifeless sounding.
