A new trailer and a plethora of juicy information delighted Spider-Man fans at Comi-Con 2023, creating great anticipation for the long-awaited Marvel's Spider-Man 2, the next game by Insomniac Games.
The presentation revealed many innovations regarding the gameplay and setting, but before diving into these details, let's take a brief detour about the new limited edition PS5 themed after Marvel's Spider-Man 2. This special console will be available in stores starting from September 1st and will include a Spider-Man 2 themed DualSense controller, inspired by the game's symbiote. The design has been thought to represent the symbiosis between the console and the symbiote while keeping the classic red Spider-Man theme. The bundle will also include a digital copy of the game, ready to be downloaded in time for the exclusive release on October 20, 2023, available only on PS5.
Moreover, the good news also extends to players who already own a PS5 or wish to purchase the game separately. All Spider-Man themed products, such as the DualSense controller and replacement PS5 covers, will be sold separately and available for pre-order from July 28, 2023, on the Direct PlayStation portal and select retailers.
