GTA 6 is already the most expensive entertainment product of all time, at least according to rumors. There's talk of a budget of a whopping 2 billion dollars, an incredible amount, but it may not be as absurd as it seems. Before delving into the topic, I remind you to subscribe to the channel and turn on notifications so you don't miss our fantastic video content.

Content Creator Rino De Bouncer has brought to light two interesting rumors regarding the highly anticipated Rockstar production. The first comes from a British author who spoke about a 2 billion dollar budget for the game last year, but without providing further details or context about this figure, such as the breakdown between development and marketing costs.

The second rumor, instead, is attributed to Chris Liberty Insider, a source historically close to Rockstar environments, who even three years ago claimed that the game had started development in 2014, suggesting a decade-long development cycle. Now, the spontaneous question is whether it's plausible that Rockstar has indeed secured such an enormous budget, despite the company's past success and the prestige of the brand.

Although it may seem unlikely, we can't deny that such an amount wouldn't be unsustainable. In this regard, expert video game analyst iOS Van Drunen predicted that, based on current user growth estimates, between 2024 and 2025, GTA 6 could sell between 12 and 14 million copies in the first week alone, generating approximately one billion dollars in revenue. These figures would be reasonably lower than those of GTA V, which sold 32.5 million copies in the launch quarter in 2013.

GTA 6 could still achieve remarkable results in its first sales quarter, with estimates of 25 million units sold. Furthermore, considering the success of GTA Online and the decade-long support provided by Rockstar Games, the game could earn over 8 billion dollars, four times the alleged budget.

Of course, all these considerations are based solely on unofficial forecasts and rumors. Rockstar Games has not yet confirmed anything regarding GTA 6. Therefore, all we can do is wait for concrete news. In the meantime, let us know what you think and what you expect from the next GTA chapter in the comments below. When will Rockstar finally reveal something about GTA 6? Let's all wait together as we embrace the anticipation. Goodbye and see you in the next video!
