That's some good speed we have at the start, and although jumping on the Tower immediately can seem like a good idea, I find it generally just puts you in to harm's way. Still, my squidmates do that, so I do what I can to make it less risky for them. I highlight one inkling to the right, who our Splat Roller takes care off, and catch out the Dynamo Roller who comes looking for me, before their Ink Armour takes hold. Our other squidmates have been busy too, and the whole of the purple team are currently splatted. Now is a great time to ride the Tower!

I tidy up around the edges, get some height, and activate my first B-bomb as the purple team return. I get one splat as inklings scatter, and sensibly withdraw a little from the Tower instead of trying to keep things moving, but it is unfortunately not quite enough to stop the mighty flick of the Dynamo Roller from hitting me. We have enough turf for a safe super-jump, and I ink more turf and protect one flank, albeit as the Tower approaches. One of the purple team is a little impetuous with their push, and it's quickly stopped, but the rest are doing well to try to capture turf first. We hold them off fairly well, but I find myself once again in an impasse with the Dynamo Roller.

Things are looking messy for a super-jump, but with only one purple inkling up at the moment it shouldn't be too risky. I tidy up around my feet, and down the middle, almost trying to keep up with the Tower, and ink the opposite flank just as two inklings drop in front of me. Nice! I get a third splat to help keep the Tower moving, and push down the other flank to watch for inklings returning. I spot the Dynamo Roller's approach, but can do nothing about it, which is a shame, as they are the only inkling standing after a neat B-bomb throw.

We were three points from the goal! Still, that should be a lead we can defend. I sit back and defend, although the purple team are pushing pretty hard and doing well to get close and splat us. I manage to just about stay safe, diving forwards away from the Tower coming our way, but our lead gives me plenty of time to jink back towards the action and ink from behind. The purple team are splatted in a nice pincer movement, and the Tower reset. There's plenty of turf to reclaim, so I start on that, getting a couple of splats as the battle over the Tower continues. My B-bomb is pretty much wasted, though.

I head up the flank, letting me use my range to good effect away from the Tower, but as the Tower comes back our way the width of the Port diminishes, along with my advantage. I rather put myself back in to defensive mode, mostly because of all the purple ink around us, but my squidmates are pushing for the knockout victory still. Good for them! I ink my way forwards as quickly as I can, but it looks like my moves are being anticipated now. I would change them up, but the battle is pretty much over.

One last defensive act to go, and I'm hoping it's going to be simple. I move up to intercept the Tower and start shooting, but the purple team are keen to still win this battle, and my focus on only the Tower lets the Dualies get too close to me. Still, thanks to our strong lead, I have time to return, this time adopting a stronger defensive posture. I hide myself behind a container and poke out to shoot the unsuspecting purple team, dealing with shorter-range threats. After that, it's just a matter of claiming the Tower. Woomy!
