Spooktober '22 | Not Treasure Hunter (PS1) - 4 Playthroughs(?)
1Alright alright. This isn't really a Spooktober game, but I had an hour to kill after R?MJ and a PS1 hooked up so here we are. Not Treasure Hunter for PS1 was developed by Acti-Art in 96 and sold for full price. You are James Arkwright, a long legged adventurer voiced by Char Aznable who explores ruins not for treasure or money but to only pursue ancient mysteries. Don't lump him in with those "Treasure Hunter" types.
This is one of those classic bakage only spoken of in hushed words. The game boasts 50 different endings though most are just failure states. The game does keep track of it however. Discovering all the branching paths is very obtuse. Like sometimes you gotta wait around to summon a lizardman only to run past him. Combat is easy enough though since James got them godlike legs. We go thought 3 of the "major" routes, plus a bonus quick end for fun.
