It's mad to think there may not be a new SSX game in the works, considering EVERYONE likes at least one game from the SSX Series. I bet most people will say SSX Tricky was the best, but if you played them all now, you'd be wrong (SSX 3 4 lyfe).
The review of the SSX games follow much the path of the mountains in which they take place. The first game, launching the PS2 and EA sports BIG, was fine - base camp. Then we had two improvements - up an incline to the top. Plant the flag with SSX 3. Then back down again to fine-ness with the next 3 SSX games reviews.
None of the SSX games in the SSX series were bad, far from it. All had positives - SSX On Tour had good music and the Mario Bros on GameCube, SSX Blur tried to be different and actually utilise the Wii remote, and SSX 2012 had wing suits.
