S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl OHKO - One Year Later
It's been just over a year since I had completed my SoC OHKO challenge run (completed 18/06/2022). This follow-up video was made to correct a few important details and provide a full explanation of my findings. Special thanks to a Reddit user named _herus_, not only for enduring my ramblings, but for pointing out some possible issues in this OHKO run.

Conclusion (fully shown in link above):
start of conclusion
"You may be asking if this is indeed possible to complete. I can only say yes and no.
It is possible in the sense that using my OHKO mod for SoC does come with a side effect of breaking in-game radiation. Players can still gain radiation, but it will no longer damage them with this mod installed. As shown above, I haven't been able to find any means of properly fixing this. As a last resort, I've left a notice on the mod's page as well as the original SoC OHKO video.
Even if I did find a way to fix this mod, the run would still not be possible as a whole.
This has led me to conclude that, unfortunately, completing SoC with the OHKO mod is not possible (if the OHKO rules are followed). As per my previous findings, Clear Sky (CS) still remains possible to complete without taking any damage (I've already done this and made a video on it).
I've tried performing the elevator glitch inside the Sarcophagus to get around the irradiated zones, though the player would still gain radiation by doing this. I counted each and every time this happened as a "death" and reloaded the game. Attempts were made to bypass the Sarcophagus with armor and artifacts that negate radiation gain, though the player would still appear to gain radiation, even a small amount."
end of conclusion
In this video, I had also performed a trick that's been labelled as the "Brain Scorcher Skip". This was done on the Steam version of this game on patch v1.0006, the most recent version of the game. The aforementioned glitch essentially breaks the Brain Scorcher in the Red Forest, allowing the player to easily bypass it.
I was also able to perform what is known as the "Elevator Glitch" in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. speedrunning community. Special thanks to a YouTube user named Magpie for publishing a tutorial on how to do this glitch as well as a method of skipping the Brain Scorcher. His tutorial on this can be accessed here:
