The next planet is Fortuna, otherwise known as Fichina in other Star Fox games. This is where we first encounter Team Star Wolf, the rivals of Team Star Fox, and their leader is Wolf O'Donnell, and they were hired by Andross to stop Star Fox, and we are put on a timer to protect the base at Fortuna.

The next place is Fortuna, and in Star Fox 64 3D, this planet was renamed to Fichina, and when you start the mission, there are a bunch of enemies coming from the base. After a set while, ROB64 will then alert you that a bomb has been planted at the base, and shortly after that, Team Star Wolf make their first appearance, and this is the game they made their debut in, they would have made their first appearance in Star Fox 2 for the SNES, but it ended up getting delayed until 2017 for the Super Nintendo Classic Edition.
The members of the Star Wolf team are Wolf O'Donnell, the leader of the team, and the rivals of Team Star Fox, Leon Powalski, Wolf's most trusted companion who likes to torture his enemies, Pigma Dengar, who was once part of the Star Fox team alongside James and Peppy until he betrayed the team, ultimately leading to James's death, and Andrew Oikonny, Andross's nephew, and the team were hired by Andross to defeat Team Star Fox, and the ship they use is called the Wolfen, this is the Star Wolf team's version of Star Fox's Arwing.
Each of Team Star Wolf have a set target, Leon would go after Falco, Pigma will target Peppy, and Andrew will go after Slippy, and as for their leader Wolf, his target is Fox. If any of your wingmen are down, let's say Falco is down, Leon will go after Fox. This is quite a tricky fight, Wolf is the hardest one to take out, you can do a somersault to make Wolf go "What the heck!", and then shoot him down if you can attempt that.
Your task is to defeat the Star Wolf team, and this is a timed mission, because when there is one minute left, ROB64 will alert you that there is a minute left, and to really complete this mission, you have to defeat all of Star Wolf, otherwise the base will explode, and the remaining members of Team Wolf will leave, taunting Star Fox that they have won that fight.
When the base explodes, the music that plays is known by fans as the "Mission Failed" song, and this song plays in three different missions if you fail the objectives, but you still continue on the game, it's just that you have failed to complete the main objective. To earn the medal for Fortuna, each member of Star Wolf is worth 10 hits when defeated, so you can defeat 10 regular enemies, and then defeat each member of Star Wolf to defeat him. The default path where if you let the timer run out will take you to Sector X, and if you defeated all of Team Star Wolf, you can go to Solar.
