Star Fox Assault - Gamecube - Intro & Missions 1 - 3 full gameplay [HD 1080p 60fps]
Namco's attempt at bringing Star Fox to the Gamecube ends up being a bit ropey with awful ground based missions, lacking the style of the games that came before it and just plain ugly looking with the character design. Highlights include the terrible moustache Peppy Hare wears and General Pepper with no eyeballs and a ghostly stare.
While it isn't a terrible game, it's run of the mill at best and the main showcase reason Star Fox should never leave his Arwing. The ground controls for both the landmaster tank and fox on foot are very twitchy and in part still feels unfinished, there's some suggestion on the internet that the game got stuck in development hell and early builds of the game were very different. Without seeing then it's hard to say, however, what is clear is that this is one game for hard core fans only it just isn't that good.
The best thing about Star Fox Assault is the fact that you can unlock the NES version of Xevious and on the Japanese version you can also unlock Star Luster. Video shows the entire of the first three missions in-game, bosses and cutscenes.
