Fighting Vipers 2 - Sega Dreamcast - Intro & 1CC Arcade Playthrough as Final Boss B.M. [HD 1080p60]
Full gameplay, longplay, playthrough, walkthrough, guide and trueplay of arcade mode as the final boss B.M. otherwise known as Big Mahler with a one credit clear (1CC) with no round losses. Much like his appearance in the first game B.M. is a power house of a character, that can be unlocked for use. Fighting Vipers 2 has a rather interesting history it was release in the arcades in Japan in 1998 and then disappeared off the radar.
The reason for this is the arcade model 3 game tanked in Japan big time, with much of the blame being placed on the combat system changes. While it's not clear how well the first game did in the arcades , truth be told it was pretty uncommon to find in the arcades, the home port for the Saturn on the other hand does appear to have sold fairly well. However, was it poplar enough to get a sequel that's another question. The huge flaw with the second game is that it removed the dodge feature that was key to a lot of the fighting tactics in the first game. It also added in the ability to perform a Super KO that would take two rounds off your opponent in one go, causing a nasty in balance with the fight system.
If it ain't broken don't fix it and that's what AM2 should have done with Fighting Vipers 2, sadly the changes to the core fighting system make it a far weaker game than its prequel. Killing off almost any hope of a third game. Worth noting the Dreamcast version is far from arcade perfect with many of the stages being cut back from their arcade version. Quite why this was the case is unknown, but likely down to CRI & Scarab who ported the game to Dreamcast. You can see the arcade version here in our playthrough video: https://youtu.be/mBBsY7WGm7w
