Stardew Valley 201 :: Shipping Wine and Truffles
22It is the Egg Festival today! Before going to town, we ship away some of our most valuable items that we have in our chests, including assorted fruits, truffles and wine! Hopefully this will give us enough money to afford the golden clock. We win the egg hunt for an extra 1,000 gold!
At last, we have sunny weather in the valley again! We harvest quite a few crops at the indoor garden before heading out. On the farm, we plant down the garlic and kale seeds that we had bought yesterday! The tulips are also done but we forgot to buy seeds for those!
Next, we visit the animal pen where we pet our animals! Our Junimos have helped us to harvest most of the coffee beans so we just take them out of the hut. We collect some maple syrup before panning in the farm lake to get some gold ore!
We keep our farm products before harvesting some apricots and cherries from the fruit trees! We also collect our mushrooms from the cave, and our jades from the crystalariums in the shed. Then, we enter the greenhouse to collect the rest of the tree fruit!
At this point in time, the egg festival has already started in Pelican Town! From our chests, we start to take out the items that we want to sell. Namely, ancient fruit, ancient fruit wine, blueberries, cranberries, fairy rose honey, starfruit, starfruit wine, strawberries, and truffles!
These items get tossed into the shipping bin. We feel like this may be our most profitable day in the entire history of our farm! We use the beach obelisk to get to the beach, where we forage for marine items before heading into town for the festival!
Somehow, we end up at the entrance by the bus stop! We buy a few strawberry seeds from Pierre before talking to the other villagers. Willy tells us about the eggs that he hides too well and we are a little disgusted! He is also blocking our way, so we have to go around all the tables to chat with Marlon.
Behind the stall, we talk to Pierre who tells us not to touch anything! We defy his orders and even touch a few furniture items in his shop. We hang out in town with both the adults and the kids before we tell Lewis that we are ready to start the egg hunt!
While picking up eggs, we speak to Jas and Vincent! Jas tells us that she is worried that Vincent would find all the eggs. She will probably find more eggs this year, since Vincent seems unaware of the fact that the hunt has already begun!
Regardless, we know that the game is rigged in Abigail's favour every year! Even if the children were to collect a lot of eggs, Abigail would still somehow come out on top. Well, that is only if we are not there to stop her!
After collecting the nine eggs needed to beat Abigail, we speak to Sam, who seems to still be suffering from his allergies. We win the egg hunt yet again for a grand prize of a thousand gold pieces! When we get back to the farm, we immediately get to work.
We call our horse and store away our items before heading to the Calico Desert! We forage for cactus fruits and coconuts, chopping down a palm tree before entering the Skull Cavern. Since we have already completed all our quests this week, we are just looking to pass the time!
When it is past 1.30 am, we use our farm obelisk to return home and keep some of our items. We try to brew more coffee in the keg, but we misclick and pass out before we can try again! The game shows us our profit for the day and we see that we have made 7 million! Wow!
