19Zombie soldiers have infiltrated your base and they must be eliminated quickly. Join Stinger Zed in blasting these undead soldiers here in Stinger Zed: Mission Undead! Your mission is to fire guided missiles to the zombies and eliminate them. Once all the zombies are gone from the platforms, the level is then completed. You only have a limited amount of missiles so you must guide these missiles carefully. Do not miss or else you will give the zombies some chance to shoot back at you! There are also obstacles that can block your shots. Use your missiles to use the objects instead against the zombies.

Overview:
One of the military’s proudest and best scientists is out on the hunt for a fountain that brings eternal life. Apparently this fountain turns the people into zombies thus giving them somewhat eternal life in a sense. The CIA panics because their scientist hasn’t returned as well as the soldiers sent with him. They freak out even more knowing that he was turned into a zombie as well as everyone else. The CIA retaliates and sends one of the army’s best soldiers in the form of Stinger Zed. Zed is sent to the jungles to annihilate the zombies, the scientist and the fountain.
Aesthetics:
Stinger Zed has the usual cartoon animation mixed with hand drawn visuals. Being set in the jungle, most of the backgrounds are trees, leaves and rocks. You could say that the color tone for the game is mostly green, brown and grey but that’s not necessarily a bad thing of course. The animations are fluent plus you get a red light dot moving around as a cursor. The music is alright as well and is pretty much suited for a jungle themed game. It’s not as intense as a shooting game or doesn’t invoke a sense of horror or survival for a zombie game but it will do.
Gameplay:
Stinger Zed: Mission Undead may come off as a zombie shooting game but it isn’t entirely that. It is a shooting game but not an action packed one. Players control Zed shooting against a number of zombies per level. The number of zombies varies from 1 to being a lot. Zed is armed with his trusty bazooka to get rid of the zombie enemies. Using the bazooka is quite tricky and can be a bit hard. Choosing the right trajectory is the first thing you need to do. You can move the red dot which is the cursor using your mouse. The hard part is navigating the rocket to the targets. Keep in mind that there will be obstacles hindering the rocket and if they hit these obstacles, it is considered as a miss turn. That’s one other thing to add that this game is also turn based. Zed gets to fire first and then the zombies will have their turn to fire. If Zed dies from the enemy fire then the level is failed. If he also runs out of rockets, the level is also failed. The good thing is that some levels will have first aid kits to heal Zed’s life bar as well as an ammo crate that will replenish Zed’s rockets. In some levels there are also puzzle elements where you need to solve before you hit a zombie. The zombies will also die if they are dropped on with blocks or fall into the pits. There are also boss levels that the players will have to fight. These bosses can take more than one hit to kill but they’re alone. Conquer all 30 levels to complete all of your missions with ease.
