Streets of Rage 3 is a side-scrolling beat 'em up developed and published by Sega in 1994 for the Sega Genesis.

It is the third instalment of the Streets of Rage series and the last game in the original trilogy, before the release of Streets of Rage 4 in 2020.

Depending on the difficulty mode, and choices made during the game, there are multiple endings for the game.

This playthrough is of Axel with one of two alternate endings obtained. This ending sees you defeat Mr X but are unable to stop the bombs from detonating, thus putting the city into peril.

In order to obtain this particular alternate ending, you will need to play at a difficulty level of at least 'normal', save the Police Commissioner in Stage 6, but miss out on defeating Mr X's final robot before the timer ends in the final boss battle.

I noticed that aside from the true ending, all other endings do not have end credits. You only get end credits by obtaining the true ending.

For the other characters, I will still do a playthrough to obtain true endings for them so stay tuned for those.

This playthrough was done using the OpenEmu app on my 2021 Apple M1 MacBook Air, paired with my 8BitDo M30 Bluetooth controller.
