Part 21 of my Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Nintendo Switch) let's play - Strut That Stuff!

In this episode, I enter and begin exploring the final world of the game, World 6 Donkey Kong Island. The entire world is based off of the world map of Donkey Kong Country Returns. Each level is based off of a different world from that game. First, I play 6-1 Homecoming Hijinxs, which is based off of the Jungle World. The level is completely frozen over, and the main mechanic revolves around grabbing onto vines that are attached to falling platforms. After that, I enter level 6-2 Seashore War, which is based off of the Beach World. The level is full of icy water that hurts you to touch, with ships partway sunken into it. You have to pull the ships upward and dash across them before they sink back into the water. It also has a puzzle piece that causes me a ton of grief!

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is a video game developed by Retro Studios, a subsidiary of Nintendo, for the Wii U and Nintendo Switch. It was released in 2014, and re released for the Switch in 2018. It is a sequel to Donkey Kong Country Returns, which originally released for the Wii in 2010. Tropical Freeze is a 2D platformer known for its beautiful backgrounds, well thought-out design, partner-based powerups, and phenomenal soundtrack composed by David Wise. It is, in my opinion, one of the best platformers ever made, and it is criminally underrated. That’s why I intend to show it off!
