Featuring a Niigata diesel locomotive (owned by DBM Contracting) hauling the passenger service from Waihi to Waikino and back.

The Goldfields Railway is a heritage line that's been in operation since the early 1980s. They operate on a surviving section of the old East Coast Main Trunk, which closed in 1978 to be replaced by the Kaimai Tunnel deviation.
