Super Mario Bros. 35 Online Battles Part 2
0There was one thing I never went over with Super Mario Bros. 35, and I'm sure I am not the only one that thinks of the Title Theme for Super Mario Maker when hearing the Main Menu theme.
While I did go over some features of Super Mario Bros. 35 in the previous video, there is a new Special Battle event happening, like how Tetris 99 had its Grand Prix events which tied in with other games, like Splatoon, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Luigi's Mansion 3, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Xenoblade Chronicles, Paper Mario: The Origami King, and a few other games, for this game's Special Battles, those are limited time events where you play on certain courses, so in this case, this Special Battle event will last from October 9th till October 11th, and the following worlds accessed are 1-1, 1-2, 1-4, 2-1, 3-1, and 4-1.
This will be one chaotic Special Battle Event, because World 3-1 is the first level that has Hammer Bros., and World 4-1 is the first time you encounter Lakitu, which is an annoying enemy to deal with if one keeps throwing Spinies at you, and if that wasn't worse enough, you can even send Bowser from World 1-4 at your opponents, specially if they have don't have a Fire Flower or a Super Star in use.
Even though the official name of the invincibility item is the Super Star, there are some sources that refer to it as the Starman, so this is an item that you can call what you want, it's almost like the Super Scope, or Nintendo Scope in some localizations of some Super Smash Bros. games. I do find Super Mario Bros. 35 to be a good game to play, while I did like Tetris 99 and its limited time Grand Prix events, I am sure Super Mario Bros. 35 will remain a good game to play, even though it will only be available until March 31st 2021.
