I show a game that released on October 1st and was revealed in the Super Mario Direct to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros., but this time it is a Battle Royale type of game, it is Super Mario Bros. 35, where up to 35 players compete to see who is the last player standing.
Super Mario Bros. 35 is likely inspired by Tetris 99, where it was also an Online Battle Royale type of game, in this one, you play through different levels in Super Mario Bros., and any defeated enemies are sent to other players. There is an Item Roulette on the top left part of the screen where you can roll for an item if you have 20 coins, and you can get a Mushroom, Fire Flower, POW Block, or Super Star at random, the POW Block is great if you are surrounded by hordes of enemies, the Super Star can be good for getting through a course quicker, and defeating enemies add more seconds to the timer.
This game keeps track of your stats, like how many wins you have and what kinds of enemies are defeated, and it has a list of every single one, the enemies you can encounter are Goomba, Koopa Troopa, Paratroopa, Piranha Plant, Cheep Cheep, Blooper, Spiny, Buzzy Beetle, Lakitu, Hammer Bro., and Bowser, and for some reason, Lava Bubbles are in the list, I guess this is because you can use a Super Star to defeat Lava Bubbles.
This game has Daily Challenges where you can earn coins for completing them, they range from stomping on enemies, using items, and clearing courses. There are Special Battle events which are available for limited time and you play on certain courses, the one that was live at the time was from 1-1 to 2-4.
