Super Mario Galaxy: Bee Luigi Takes Flight speed guide with Sequence Break
41Thanks to Paraxade0 for re-uploading the sequence break video of Bee Mario/Luigi Takes Flight. I decided to make a quick video of a test Speed Run that use this trick.
The obvious improvement is to avoid performing those jumps that have flips (those kinds of jumps wont let you spin attack to go up the bushy tree slopes).
I didnt go up to highest point of the tree straight away, what I did was going to the end of the tree, the camera changes position slightly. Then I go to the highest point of the tree. This makes my double jump set up much easier. If you look at Paraxade0s video the camera position is very similar. You could use the D-pad to rotate the camera but it does not set the camera position the same like in this video.
The target time (with no failed spin jumps) is around Sub 1 minute 40 seconds.
The target time that doesnt use the camera setup is around Sub 1 minute 35 seconds.
Oh and I've posted my DVDs to Nate for my New Super Mario Bros 100% speed run to be verified!!
