This trick enables us to skip the Battlefield event where you take control of a missile turret and take down the soldiers and mech bots from the other side of the room.

The first clip shows how to get pass it and killing it doesnt solve the solution, even if you did kill the wondering guard, the alarms will still trigger and the doors will be closed. If you were by the doors and then quickly killed him then gone pass the trap door before the cutscene trigger, the door will still be closed even after getting the Foam gun. The only way for the door to be open again is to go the long way round through the Area.

I got the Foam gun and shut down the machines. Then I end up in the save room & this is when I carry on.

The second clip shows how to get the Early Missile and still skip the event. By aiming 45 degrees up & right from the staircase you can make a angled Foam Tower so that you can get up to the highest part before the fan blows you down. If you did it from the usual spot, Jason would aim it at one of the bulky guards and will shoot rockets at you. This is bad because the rockets can DESTROY your Foam Tower.

This trick might be very useful for a Default New Game run without The Big Secret skip since as far as I can remember I only went to this room once in the main run.
