Super Mario RPG (SNES) - Part 10: Jinx's Showdown
0Super Mario RPG is a classic in my eyes, and one I have fond memories of; still, it's a rather simple game, that I wish Nintendo and Square would properly give us closure for. A Remake or something would be great, to make the game get a more modern coat of paint. But, IMO; Super Mario RPG still holds out fine as a beginners RPG, made to allow more action game fans an introduction it to the more complicated system of RPGs; and it nails the basics well, while implementing systems like Timed Hits, which all future Mario RPGs would rename "Action Commands" in Paper Mario as well as Mario & Luigi.
After taking down Belome and arriving at Monstro Town, I basically try to wrap up the majority of stuff I can before heading to Bean Valley. There's a few extra things to do before heading there anyway; and it's good to do them. The first two battles against Jinx honestly ain't that bad, but I don't recommend doing the Third one till you've at least cleared Bowser's Castle.
