After getting through Belome Temple, Mario and the others arrive at Monstro Town, a land said to be inhabited by monsters, and they meet up with former members of Bowser's Minions, who have settled down in the town. Monsto Town is also home to a bunch of optional quests which give some good awards if completed.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Monstro Town is home to various monsters, and we even meet up with Bowser's former minions, in the original game, the minions didn't have names, for example, Goomhilde was just called Goomba in the SNES game, she now runs a shop and that is where you can buy a Spiked Chomp and a Courage Shell, these items are for Bowser.
For areas, one of them has a bed where you can sleep in, and this unlocks the Three Musty Fears sidequest, the Three Musty Fears are a reference to the Three Musketeers, and they are a group that consists of Boo, Dry Bones, and Graper, and they have placed flags throughout the world. One of them is under Mario's bed, one of them is between the "O" and "A" in "Goal" at Yo'ster Island, and one of them is on the flower sign in Rose Town. When you go back, you obtain the Ghost Medal, which halves all damage taken, and even though you can see it for 800 coins, this is the only Ghost Medal you can get, if you sell it, that's it, you can't get another one to replace it.
In one room, you have to talk to the Thwomp about seven times, and a key will drop, this will allow you to access the secret room in Belome Temple, which has a lot of Frog Coins. The Chow gives you an item for how many successful Super Jumps, for 30 consecutive Super Jumps, you get an Attack Scarf, this protects the user from mortal blows and boosts stats by 30, making this the best accessory in the game, and this item can only be equipped to Mario, and for 100 consecutive Super Jumps, you get a Super Suit, which boosts attacking stats and defense by 50, while boosting speed by 30, and it protects the user from negative status and elemental attacks.
The next one is where we meet up with Monstermama, the elder of Monstro Town, and you will want to visit her to get information about a Star Piece, and upstairs is a Starslap which teaches you the final tune for Toadofsky's song. After visiting Monstermama, to continue with the game, go to Land's End, and at the cliff area is where you can do Sergeant Flutter's quest, where you have to use the Paratroopas a platforms, and if you can get it done quickly, you can earn a Troopa Medal, the user deals 50% more damage with attacks.
Then we have the dojo, this is where Jagger is at, and time to fight against him, he isn't that hard, and after beating him, this is where the master of the dojo shows up. Jinx shows up, and he is like The Master from Paper Mario where you can battle him many times, and he gets stronger for each battle. The first Jinx fight isn't too bad, he has Jinxed and Triple Kick, some powerful combo moves, and he uses Valor Up if his HP is below 300, and he is resistant to many elemental attack and status moves.
The second fight with Jinx is a little bit harder, his new moves are Silver Bullet, which is a mortal blow attack, you will want to equip a Safety Ring or any accessory that protects you from mortal blows, and Quicksilver is a very powerful move that can deal heavy damage.
Then for the third battle where Jinx is at his most powerful, he now has Bombs Away, which deals 4x the neutral damage, it is the most powerful attack in the game, and he uses Vigor Up when his HP is below 600 HP. For winning the third battle, you will earn a Jinx Belt, this items guards against mortal blows, while boosting the physical attack and speed of the wielder, making it a really good item to equip to anyone. About the darker door, there is a super boss waiting in there, I will wait a bit later to show that battle, but it is a very difficult battle behind that door.
