After defeating the Gatekeeper and restoring the Boathouse, Mario enters Ricco Harbor, a port area with a bunch of boats, and he finds the water has been polluted by some ink-like goop, and he finds Gooper Blooper, a very large Blooper who serves as a boss for this world, and he practices Blooper Surfing.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

We check out Ricco Harbor in this video, and to access it, you need at least 3 Shine Sprites and have defeated the Gatekeeper and restored the Boathouse. We get a scene showing the Bowser-like boat, and all the Toads, and even Toadsworth are in panic, as Peach has been kidnapped yet again, but we will check it out later on, and that scene will keep appearing until then, that is the one thing I don't like about Super Mario Sunshine.
Ricco Harbor is a port area that has a lot of boats, but we find the water is polluted with some ink-like goop. You cannot take the sewers, as the manholes are covered by the crates, so you have to go onto the boat and cross platforms with the Hover Nozzle, and the yellow submarine, not to be confused with that song from the Beatles, can be raised by spraying the fan, and you can get a Blue Coin for it, and it can be used as a platform to get to the port. You can also use the beams to get to the port if you can spin jump from the first boat onto them, and at the port, you can find a bunch of cargo boxes with a tentacle sticking out, pull it and we get a cutscene.
This is Gooper Blooper, and this is the game he makes his first appearance, and he does return in a few other games, like Mario Power Tennis, Super Princess Peach, Super Mario Sluggers, and two of the Paper Mario games, Sticker Star and Origami King. To fight Gooper Blooper, you have to spray him and he will slam all his tentacles down, and you have to grab them and pull them off Gooper Blooper, you can pull off all four, but it is recommend you pull the front two, and then pull Gooper Blooper's mouth to damage him and remove the cork, and Gooper Blooper sprays ink around him, and you have to repeat the process again, and after you pull his mouth, you have defeated him, and you get your Shine Sprite.
Next is Blooper Surfing Safari, and this is where you can learn how to ride a Blooper, talking to the Big Daddy of Blooper Surfing, and he tells you to pick your Blooper. The Green Blooper is the slowest, but is easier to control, the Yellow Blooper is average in both speed and control, and the Pink Blooper is the fastest, but it is the hardest to control. Ride the Blooper to the cave, and you have to race a lap within 45 seconds, I recommend the Yellow Blooper, as it is the average one, and watch out for the obstacles, this isn't difficult, and there is a secret Shine Sprite where you have to beat the course in 35 seconds.
The Caged Shine Sprite is next, and this is where platforming comes in, there are Bloopers on the beams, and when you follow the path, you can get the Rocket Nozzle, and after a bunch of trampolines, you can enter the cage from above, alternatively, you can use the Rocket Nuzzle from the platform underneath the cage and flip the panel and enter to collect the Shine Sprite.
The Secret of Ricco Tower is the fourth episode, and to enter the tower, you can either use the Rocket Nozzle or climb the boat and jump onto the beams and spin jump onto the support platforms and go into the tower. Shadow Mario appears and steals FLUDD, and for this secret course, you have to cross long rotating platforms, and there is a platform with two walls on each side with a 1-Up Mushroom, so it is good to see 1-Up Mushrooms in secret courses, then through rotating gear platforms and more long rotating platforms, and the Shine Sprite is at the end. If I remember, this course reappears in Super Mario Galaxy 2, I believe it was called Twisty Trial Galaxy.
Gooper Blooper Returns for the fifth episode, and he is on the helipad, which you can either use the Rocket Nuzzle to get to him, and the box with the Rocket Nozzle is below the helipad, or you could talk to the Pianta and have him throw Mario onto the helipad. The fight with Gooper Blooper is the same as last time, just pull his tentacles and then pull his mouth to remove the cork, and repeat it to defeat him.
