Super Metroid 100% Walkthrough Extra Part 1 - Endings, Deaths, Crystal Flash, and Beam Combos
Here, I show pictures of the better (under three hours) ending and the other (over three hours) ending. Then I show the deaths when Samus is in normal form and Morph Ball form (no difference really). The pictures were obtained from vgmuseum.
I show the Crystal Flash. You need at least 10 Missiles, 10 Super Missiles, and 11 Power Bombs, as well as less than 50 units of health with no energy in Reserve Tanks. Select Power Bomb, hold both aiming buttons, then hold down after going into Morph Ball. Press and hold fire, then you should see the animation for the Crystal Flash, refilling all your health at the cost of ammo.
Then I just show the different Beam Combos that can be done. For the Five Bomb Drop, just charge your beam, and go into Morph Ball. For the special beam attacks, select the Power Bomb, and have only the Charge and Ice/Wave/Spazer/Plasma beam activated. Charge the beam, then it should work.
Apparently there is an ending for people who complete the game with a time of more than ten hours. Go here to look at that pic:
