Super Monaco Grand Prix is a classic Sega arcade game based on their Board X technology, released in 1989. The Mega Drive version is an absolute classic and came with many a bundle, what's lesser known are some of the home computer ports, including the 1991 Sinclair ZX Spectrum version by David Shea, which is actually pretty darn good. In many ways, it's much closer to the arcade version than other conversions, including Sega's own Master System version. Join me for some rear view mirror mayhem (not a euphemism).
