Sweet Six-Keen - Episode 4: God Save the Keen

Well, I guess it was pretty much inevitable that one of these episodes would end up taking more than a single session to complete. I guess I was just hoping it wouldn't happen until the very end. But honestly, I'd say the jump in difficulty between Keens 4 and 5 was about equal to that of 1 and 2... it's just that Secret of the Oracle took me the whole night to beat in the first place. So, obviously, a difficulty jump like that would prevent me from finishing the next game in a single go.
Having said that, I don't necessarily hate The Armageddon Machine. Well, not yet, anyway. There are a lot of pain in the ass enemies in this one. Robo Red is a freaking nightmare to evade. And don't get me started on the Shikadi themselves. Bullet sponge enemies are a nuisance in Keen games... even if ammo has been relatively plentiful so far. It also doesn't help that it seems like they'd be immune to these blasts anyway. Oh well.
I'm throwing in an extra stream on Tuesday, just to knock this game out once and for all. I managed to beat 7 of the game's 12 stages... and maybe, with a little more research, I'll be able to take it out no sweat next time.
...I hope.
Good thing I only need to beat 10 levels in the final episode.
