After ten years of development, the founder of the T2 project, René Rebe , has finally announced a new stable version 20.10 of his T2 Linux distribution kit . Anyone who recently arrived in the Linux world should not know T2 SDE. So, before we discuss what's new in T2 SDE 20.10, let's give more details on that.
T2 is a regular distribution of Linux and a flexible open source System Development Environment (SDE) or distribution build kit. Originally, it is a fork of ROCK Linux that doesn't even exist anymore.
You you can use it as a normal operating system or take advantage of it to build your own Linux distributions in a personal way. So you can use cutting edge technology, more current packages and support for compilation.

He currently uses the Linux kernel - but T2 SDE is being expanded to Minix, Hurd, OpenDarwin, Haiku and OpenBSD - more to come.
Coming to the latest T2 SDE Linux 20.10, it received updates across the board, improved cross-compilation and added new architectural support for ARM64 and RISC-V .
Along with support for the latest Epyc silicon processor and AMD Zen Threadripper , the T2 20.10 maintained support for vintage hardware such as Sony PS3, Sgi Octane and Sun UltraSPARC .
