Information in the text files submitted alongside demos may contain errors, missing information, links that are now dead, or contact info that is no longer valid. In particular many .txt files refer to doomedsda.us, a demo archive that no longer exists. Generally everything is left as-is with the goal to accurately represent the material as it appears in the archive, however in the case of this upload the full text file is too large for the video description and has been edited during the upload process to fit. Links to the PWAD & Demo on dsdarchive.com are found at the bottom of the description.

THIS IS A TOOLS-ASSISTED DEMO
Thought it would be fun to see how much
the original Doom Done Turbo run could
be improved.
Level comments:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Episode 2: Most route ideas from Andrey Budko's e2uv-342, original DDT.
E2M1: Like most maps in Episode 2, the main improvement comes from just better running. Not much to say about this level.
E2M2: Again, standard route, better running allows a one second improvement.
E2M3: Now this level was incredibly frustrating. I mean, I couldn't think of any way of getting everything to go correctly: doing one part of the level quicker would make another part of the level slower because the monsters wouldn't behave correctly, so each of my different routes ended up at 18 seconds. I was able to get past the lost soul in the dark room very quickly and bring the time down to 17 seconds. Maybe if the exit door were open, the time could be 16 seconds, but I couldn't get that to happen, so I had to just stick with 17.
E2M4: Standard route, improvement due to better running. Happy to get below 30 seconds.
E2M5: Not much to say here either.
E2M6: Decided I'd use xepop's and cack_handed's route with the void glide, hence the massive improvement. With a seamless glide, it should be possible to get 13 seconds, but that's about as good as I could do manually.
E2M7: One second improvement due to better running, didn't think I could get any improvement on this map at first.
E2M8: Standard route, though since I skipped most of E2M6 I had a larger number of cells for the cyberdemon.
