Taylor Swift remembers a heartbreaking experience from Joe Alwyn relationship.
Taylor Swift revealed details about her time with Joe Alwyn.
The 34-year-old singer, who is presently on her Eras Tour in Australia, made a confession during her performance in Melbourne on Saturday night.
Taylor admits to feeling "lonely" while recording Folklore, a song she created for an album amid the 2020 pandemic.
In a video posted by a fan, she can be heard saying "I was imagining that, instead of being a lonely millennial woman covered in cat hair, I was a ghostly Victorian lady wandering through the woods with a candle in a candlestick holder, and I wrote only on parchment with a feathered quill."
"That's how I imagined myself writing 'Folklore.'" That's not how I looked... Taylor said, "So the delusion is all that matters."
Taylor dated Joe from 2016 till April 2023.
While the majority of their relationship was private, Taylor stated in a 2020 Rolling Stone interview, "I think that knowing him and being in the relationship I am in now, I have definitely made decisions that have made my life feel more like a real life and less like just a storyline to be commented on in tabloids."
Recognizing that her husband provides "normalcy" to her everyday life, Taylor said, "Whether that's deciding where to live, who to hang out with, when to not take a picture — the idea of privacy feels so strange to try to explain, but it's really just trying to find bits of normalcy."
