I think I have a workable solution to share on the Obstacle Avoidance front. It still isn't perfect but until we get to real pathfinding, it wont be. In this short clip you can see all the possible raycasts the aI might do. Usually they do about 5 each but there are a bunch of directions they can test if they need to.
