Terranigma was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995 and 1996. Its soundtrack was composed by Miyoko Takaoka and Masanori Hikichi.

Evergreen fits into this time of year in an odd way - in the game, you've just revived plant-life on the Earth and are watching it grow and proliferate. Not typically much in line with winter. However, the music that accompanies this seems a bit odd. Rather than lush and vibrant, it is reasonably open and characterized (in my mind) by its stillness - something which very much accompanies winter around these parts. Taken away from its context, you can close your eyes and imagine a gentle snowfall without much trouble, I should think.

Well, and its name is Evergreen, so a Christmas Tree isn't too much of a stretch, is it?
