Lone Echo 2 is the best VR game to launch for PC VR since Half Life Alyx, an incredible swan song for the era of Oculus PC VR exclusives & a mesmerising, immersive, slow burn marvel of a story! Thank you to Oculus for supplying access to Lone Echo 2 ahead of launch, I've been consistently blown away by the work Ready at Dawn have achieved here and fully intend to upload a Lone Echo 2 full game playthrough on the channel over the next few weeks. It's sad to see PC VR being shelved for the timebeing but I truly believe we will return to this level of quality in time, the Lone Echo 2 VR gameplay captured today was all Lone Echo 2 Oculus Quest 2 PC VR link gameplay and everything ran extremely smoothly for me. I've tested the game currently with Oculus Quest 2, Rift S & Quest 2 via airlink & so far the game runs wonderfully across all setups.

Lone Echo 2 is a slow burn narrative adventure set in the depths of space, players assume the role of JACK, an artificial intelligence who assists his human companion Olivia in the maintenance and upkeep of their space fairing vessel. After the events of Lone Echo 1 you awake disoriented and need to piece together exactly what transpired in the previous game whilst facing new threats and obstacles in this brand new journey. Lone Echo 2 is a stunning game and easily the best VR game to launch since Half Life Alyx, it's been a while since I've felt this completely immersed in a world and I can't wait until VR reaches the point where all games look this sharp & feel this good to play.
