The Deadly Tower of Monsters is a top down Beat em'up with Platformer/Adventure Elements. So what makes this game special is, that it plays in a 70's 80s Retro Sci Fi Film setting. This comes with neat little details, like you can see strings on some flying objects or monsters. Some enemies look like clay in a stop motion style. Overall this game looks like you playing on a place filled with toys. Occasionally you have to jump over obstacles or to other platforms. The Adventure Elements are, that you get different ranged and melee weapons which you can upgrade with cogs that you can collect on this giant open level. Also you collect skills that help you in combat and some help you with certain obstacles. So with the landmine you can "blow up" Rocks that are in the way, as Robot you can slow time in an area, so you can move through fast moving objects since they get slow down. So with these skills you open up new parts of the level. I played the game for about 70 minutes, but did cut it to the 45 minutes mark.
