In this episode of the podcast I am replying to Diego Salazar, who found the Embrace experiment/mortals chronicle very interesting and wanted to know more about what me and my group learned from that game. Well, without going into too much detail, the game definitely came at a good time, all those 7 or 8 years ago, and the discoveries made were pretty abundant.
It probably paved the way for a lot of other fun games in the sandbox style of running things (which is, without a doubt, my preferred style) and showed players a whole new dimension of character depth, immersion, genuine choice and narrative possibility. All they needed was to walk off the beaten path and just try a new approach.
