Vampire: the Masquerade - Kindred and an unlife of crime
Happy New Year, my dearest roleplaying people!
In this episode of the podcast we'll be talking about how being embraced effectively forces you into an unlife of crime, and how survival depends on adapting to this situation. This is perhaps especially visible in the Sabbat or Anarchs, but even in the Camarilla, who is supposedly the more humane Sect, maintaining the Masquerade and the other Traditions often comes into conflict with quite a few human rights and mortal laws, but secrecy is valued above all. Corruption, in one form or another, is the way of vampires.
Organized crime and illegal acquisition of resources (backgrounds) really is the only way Kindred can feel a semblance of safety and comfort. The Fledgeling who denies himself this, and refuses to "play ball", will probably find themselves taken off the game court/field/board (if you know what I mean).
Vampires, even if they are humane, will always do more harm than good to mortals, both as individual and society.
Enoy!
