In this episode of the podcast I'm recapping a Vampire game I ran 6-7 years ago, late 2014, I think, (or early 2015) for 2 of my older players and a newbie, who, against expectations, did a fantastic job.
It must've been one of the weirdest games I've ever run, in a time when I was experimenting with both storytelling techniques/ approaches, and everything Vampire had to offer in terms of weird Caine lore and Gehenna scenarios. As you are about to hear, it's basically a pre-Gehenna introductory scenario (if that makes sense) in which the Camarilla and Sabbat are at each other's throats, in a Romania that is devoid of Elder Tzimisce. Throughout the game, the protagonists discover they are much more supernatural than they could have ever imagined and way more powerful than they know, they are friends with Malkav and Saulot and their clan curse is nothing compared to the curse they brought upon themselves, millennia ago, through what is probably the most unfortunate Diablerie ever. So they end up Inconnu, I think?
