Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome back to another episode of The Evil Within 2. In this episode we continue through the Marrow, and take another stab at unlocking the door and taking out all the enemies. Our second attempt goes just as well as the first, where we take out all the enemies except the clicker. The Clicker finds us immediately and barges into what we thought was our safe space, and murders our face off. On the third attempt, we decide to set up shop in the room where we found the Warden Crossbow Ammo Pouch. This time it goes much better, as we experiment with setting up a trap with the Warden Crossbow, using an explosive bolt. Even this doesn't kill her though, and we are forced to waste a few more of our shotgun shells to finally take her down. Relieved, but shaken up, we finally are able to explore the rooms they all came from. We loot some ammo, and continue on our merry way towards the gas tunnels we were told to go through. We come to a sewer chamber, and drain the sewage before we can progress. We take out an enemy, and climb up the other side. We finally find the gas leak, and put on our gas mask, which switches us to a first person perspective. Thankfully there are only a couple enemies down here, but one of them is a gas monster. The sign on the door clearly states that it's flammable, which means we can't shoot our gun, and have to rely solely on stealth to progress. We take out the first enemy with no issues, then proceed to stab the gas monster once, then run away so it doesn't see us. We sneak up again, take him out, and are free to explore this area. In doing this, we have one of the biggest jumps in this game so far, as a random body falls from the ceiling. We also find a statue with a key, which made the jump scare worth it. We solve a fuse box puzzle, then unlock the door that allows us to escape the tunnel. We take off our gas mask and feel a sense of relief, as we end the episode. We will explore our new setting next time.
