Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome back to another episode of The Evil Within 2. In this episode we explore inside Stefano's demented art, looking for a way to destroy it. We see some flashbacks as we make our way down the hall, and find the key to open the door to the art. However, picking up the key, causes the environment to shift, and to make our way back we have to take out some more enemies along the way. We again use the stealthy approach, sneak attacks, and save our ammo as much as we can. One of them doesn't follow the rules, and abruptly turns around while we are sneaking up to him. We take them all out, then unlock the room with the art in it. We suspect it may come alive, but what actually happens is unexpected. The room is suddenly covered in electric wires, and we have to figure out how to get around them and to the art to destroy it. We do so, then are violently ejected from the painting and watch as it burns up. We then explore down another alleyway, and take out a few more enemies we find there. We become suspicious when there are both a resonance point and oil drums nearby. Last time we encountered this combination there was a guardian that spawned after viewing the resonance point. We take out the enemies one by one, and make our way to the fallen Mobius agent, where we view the resonance point. Sure enough, after watching the scene play out, we hear that iconic giggle and run away from the monstrosity forming from the pile of body parts nearby. We run back to the safe house so we can prepare for war with this thing in the next episode. But first, we stop in the storage room outside now that we have a key, and find ourselves a new shotgun with a greater range. Picking up the shotgun triggers another event with the scary lady, who comes through the door, the only way out, and we have nowhere to hide. I won't give away what happens, but we do survive this encounter. With our nerves shaken, we return to the safe house, do some upgrading, and prepare for battle with the guardian next time.
