Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome back to another episode of The Evil Within 2. In this episode we venture out of the safehouse and into the streets where the Rawr monsters are roaming. But first we see a familiar character enter a mirror, and follow her inside. She brings us back to our office with the cat, but she walks towards a wheelchair precariously placed at the end of the hall. Nurse Tatiana acts like we are still at Beacon Hospital, and when we sit down, it even seems to change the setting to look more like Beacon. We realize we don't have enough green gel, so we leave, after saying goodbye to Mr. Kitty. We learn how to use the communicator a little, and see that we have a rather large map to explore. Our first encounter with an enemy does not go very well, as we fumble with the controls and end up sprinting straight at him and getting killed. It goes much better the second time around when we utilize the stealth appropriately. We then slog through some bushes and find another zombie crawling around, and another on top of a building. We stealthily take them all out, and begin to feel like a badass, but this is only the beginning. We start heading up the street and encounter one of the zombies gathering bodies into a pile. We investigate and find a hand axe, which we can use to help us take out zombies quicker. We head back to the safe house and upgrade our stealth a little, before we decide to take a break and will continue our investigation next time.
