Black Annis, also known as Black Agnes, is a notorious figure whose name is widely recognized among readers familiar with folklore, mythology, and witchcraft. This fearsome entity is often mentioned in books that discuss Anu, Danu, or other related subjects, with roughly half of these references specifically referring to Gentle Annis or Cailleach Bheur (also known as Bear e).
