The influence of HP Lovecraft and Edgar Allen Poe is incalculable. And regardless of whether or not you’ve spent any time exploring the written works of these two men--you’re probably familiar with motifs that are either pulled directly from them or inspired by them. And this is again the case with The Last Door--a game developed by The Game Kitchen and released in staggered episodes that cover two seasons--the release dates ranging from 2013 all the way 2016. These games, like many others, are like love letters to the ubiquitous themes derived from Lovecraft and Poe.

The Last Door: Season One is a point-and-click horror adventure. Everything stated in this review of The Last Door is my opinion.
