10... because Old Erik is coming to feed them to the great wolf Fenris. Through the Woods explores various themes in Norse mythology while simultaneously taking place in the modern era. It's a third-person adventure horror game developed by Antagonist and released on PC in 2016.
The game begins with a getaway trip to the cabin. Karen needed a change of pace with her work location, as well as some time with her son, Espen. However, this trip turns south quickly as Espen is kidnapped by a strange man in a boat by the name of Erik. Karen frantically pursues Erikโs boat through the water and ends up on a strange shore in what feels like a completely different world that time has forgotten. Can Karen save her son before it's too late?
