Today is cruise vacation video number six. In todays video we are reviewing the Lego Ice Castle set #43197 with 1,709 pieces. This set uses minidolls instead of minifigs, thus in my opinion making it a Friends set. Overall besides a few scenes, Frozen isn’t really my thing, and this build was for my eldest daughter. My wife decided to build this with her. It is an 14 and older set, but honestly it has a lot of play functions for a 14 year old and in my opinion better suited for a younger child. So likely the set is made to be built by the older sister, but given to the younger sister after. The castle is nicely detailed, and Im a sucker for the beautiful blue pieces, as blue is my favorite color. I do think the price is extremely high at around 13 cents per piece. That beats Star Wars prices that average 12 cents per piece. We luckily got this set for $160. I recommend this set if you can get a similar deal, like we did for the set.
