Lego Technic Dom's Dodge Charger!! (Is It As Ridiculous As The Fast & Furious Franchise!!)
In todays video we build and review the Lego Technic Dom’s Dodge Charger set #42111, with 1,077 pieces. Now this video is done in time to celebrate Fast X coming to theaters this weekend. As part of the celebration I share my Fast and Furious die cast collection. I also share some deep stories about the movies and me growing up watching them. We then get into the set and give some initial thoughts before the unboxing. In the unboxing we find a low amount of stickers, a decent sized book, and 4 numbered building bags. In the review of this set we find some interesting things. First off, this set is a 50 footer, meaning it only looks great from a distance. It is very disproportionate in all aspects that make the vehicle. Cool features include the engine pistons and blower belt moving when rolling the car. The gear on the back for the steering, as the steering wheel does nothing. It also has an extinguisher, and two NOS bottle in the trunk. The main feature, and I think the focus of this build was the stand to keep the car in a wheelie. Everything else with this build seems like one afterthought into another. I only recommend this build if you a Lego Vehicle collector. I do believe the licensing on this gets the better of the price. Its features are what you expect on a $50 technic, but yet it price and size rivals with the Ford GT from this year. All this makes this Charger one of the most forgettable but unique Technic vehicles to own. With that I am very happy this is part of the growing vehicle collection in the studio. If we go over 200 subs by June 1st, I will reward you all with a series of videos containing some sketchy semi used modular buildings!
