If you are a huge fan of Indiana Jones, Tin Tin or Romancing The Stone, this may just be the perfect board game for you. The Lost Expedition is a resource obstacle management game where players lead a team of 3 explorers with expertise in the area of camping, navigation and jungle survival as they trek through the Amazon Jungle in search of the lost city of Z or El Dorado.
A geographer named Percy Fawcett tried to find The Lost City of Z many years ago but unfortunately it did not end well for him as he never returned. Maybe he was eaten by an Anaconda or consumed by flesh eating bugs. Either way, you've been sent to rescue his team only to realise that you may not make it out alive.
The Lost Expedition is a very punishing board game about managing your supplies including food, ammunition and health as well as taking risks and avoiding a lot of bad things that can happen in the jungle. Will you survive or make it out alive or suffer from the same fate as Percy Fawcett?
