The Mother of All Landers, Episode 16 of Journey Into Space
Other people are perfectly happy with landing one guy in a one-man capsule on Duna and maybe aren't all that worried about ever getting him back. That kind of small thinking will never fly here on Journey Into Space. ;) We do things Kerbal-style. ;) We'll send a giant lander costing gazillions of kerbalbucks and put half a dozen lives at risk from the babies of the Space Kraken (and pilot error) just to pick up one wayward astronaut who seems perfectly happy where she is. Assuming it's possible to do of course, and assuming we can get some lulz out of it. ;)
Because the Kerbals don't have a space budget, they have a space WHEEEEE LETS PRINT MORE MONEY CUZ THAT'S WHAT A MONEY PRINTING PRESS IS FOR! LETS SPEND IT ALL ON SPACE! SCREW NATIONAL DEFENSE, HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES AND ALL THE REST! MOAR BOOSTERS! ;)
In this mission we go to rescue the crew of the Planet Explorer 1 and then take those astronauts so recently rescued from Duna, back to Duna to pick up Shellie Kerman, who seems perfectly happy on Duna, but she's coming home anyway. ;) So we can shoot her off into space again. ;)
